We are a group of believers who are in Love with Christ. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who carried our sins, died and rose again. We believe Jesus is seated at the right Hand of God and will come again to judge the living and the dead.
Women were an integral part of the early church. It was to Mary Magdalene who Jesus first appeared to after resurrection. Mark 16:9-11 – ‘9 When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons. 10 She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping.’ And it was Mary Magdalene who was the first evangelist (‘she went and told…’).
Our women gather in prayer, worship and study of the Word equipping themselves in the these last days to go out and share the Word.
John 1:1 – ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ’
We believe that the Bible is the true Word of God. We meet on a bi-weekly basis to do an in-depth study of the Bible. An inductive study method is incorporated in our Bible study.
The inductive (inductive means – using evidence and examples to reach a general conclusion)study method has three stages:
1. Observation – looking at the text over and over again until looking becomes seeing.
2. Interpretation – looking at what the text means for the people in the time the particular book was written and received.
3. Application – which is the goal of our Bible study, where we look at how we can apply the timeless truths that we discover in our study .
Psalm 127:3 – ‘Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.’
Yes, our children are a gift from God entrusted under our care. We believe its our mission to lead them and guide them in the path of faith in Christ. There is so much wickedness surrounding us in the culture around us, and we realize the importance of equipping our young ones with the Word of God and teaching them the discernment of the Holy Spirit. Also, we realize it’s our responsibility to train to be the ambassadors of the Kingdom of God in this world.
Every Sunday, our children gather to pray, worship and study at 5:30pm. We follow the Awana Christian Curriculum for our children.
1 Peter 2:9 ‘9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.’
As brothers in Christ we gather in prayer and worship, encouraging each other with a focus on renewing our identity in Christ.
